The Very Reverend Calvin A. Chandler, a 21^st-century prognosticator of the Kingdom of God.  He is a relevant teacher, a practical preacher, and, as an anointed mouthpiece of God, his humorous character makes for effective preaching. He stands firm on the word of God, teaching and preaching holiness. He confesses with Peter that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. His assignment is to uproot and tear down the evil domains of today’s culture and implement kingdom strategies.

Overseer Chandler was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He was educated in the New York City public school system and is currently employed as an educator by the New York City Department of Education.

Overseer Calvin A. Chandler is the Senior Pastor and Organizer of The Remnant Family Worship Center Inc. in Brooklyn, New York. Reverend Chandler accepted Christ at an early age at the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of the Reverend Dr. Curtis L. Whitney. He preached his first sermon at the young age of 14, entitled "Stay in Your Place." He has been doing the will of God ever since, not letting anything get in his way. He has served in many capacities, such as youth pastor, assistant to the senior pastor (until Dr. Whitney’s retirement), member of the evangelism ministry, and media coordinator, just to name a few.

Overseer Chandler is an organizing member and director of The Consuming Fire Fellowship, Brooklyn, NY, and a board member of the Glory Highway Woman’s Supportive Service, Inc. Overseer Chandler is a member of the Oil of Joy Ministries Alliance under the leadership of Apostle Dr. Patricia A. Wiley.  He also serves as a youth adviser and mentor to youth and young adults from all walks of life and is known as a big brother to many.

Overseer was proud to be a part of the Overcomer’s Ministry in the Broadway House Women’s Shelter, ministering to the residents. With the aid of the Holy Spirit and in the name of Jesus, many people were saved, healed, delivered, and set free; they also were able to find apartments and reunite with their families. He also taught online Bible study, teaching biblical principles every week, reaching several nations for kingdom advancement and ministering to thousands.

Overseer Calvin A. Chandler was elevated to the office of Elder in The Lord’s Holy Church on May 29, 2009, in the Pentecostal church. On Saturday, June 27^th, 2015, at 10 a.m., on the recommendation of his pastor, the Reverend Dr. Curtis L. Whitney, the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, and upon approval of the ordination council of the Eastern Baptist Association Inc., Calvin A. Chandler was ordained into the Gospel Ministry. On September 3, 2022, he was installed as Senior Pastor of The Remnant Family Worship Center by his spiritual parents, The Reverend Dr. Curtis L. Whitney and Apostle Dr. Patricia A. Wiley. By the Grace of Almighty God, on November 9, 2024, The Reverend Calvin A Chandler was elevated to the lower house of the Episcopacy (Overseer) in the Deliverance Church of Jesus Church under the leadership of Bishop Samuel Surles Jr.

His favorite scripture is Isaiah 54:17. His motto is "I’m not dealing with foolishness in this season... It’s not a part of my assignment." and "Keep your hands clean."

Overseer Chandler truly loves the Lord. He knows he has been called and chosen for such a time as this to preach and teach the unadulterated gospel of Jesus Christ. He has a great love for children. He believes all children should have the chance to be great, but we as adults must nurture and guide them. His ministry is geared towards saving young people and teaching them that holiness is right, and the wage of sin is death.
